£35K - £39K + additional benefits, full time, permanent

Hybrid working 2 days office based in Rye, East Sussex

We are an established event management agency, passionate about creating unique experiences for our clients and their attendees, both in the UK and globally. Our events include conferences, annual kick-off, dinners, networking events and cultural experiences.

 In this role you will have the opportunity to work with our amazing clients, project lead the delivery of their events, utilize and further develop your skills including your leadership and team supporting skills. We are looking for a candidate with experience in a similar role, working within an events agency, project managing variety of events. The role involves extensive international travel.

What this role involves

• Leading project from start to finish through the full event life cycle

• Liaising with the clients and acting as their main point of contact

• Financial and budgeting responsibility, often in multiple currencies

• Designing the event concept in line with the client’s objectives

• Negotiations with the hotels, venues, and other suppliers

• Managing and supporting internal and external team members collaborating on the project

• On-site event delivery

• Reporting and analytics

We are looking for

• At least 3 years’ experience working at a similar level with project management and leadership experience as a key part of your role

• Strong knowledge of event industry and trends including technology and sustainability, with a proven record of your on-going focus on your personal development

• Ability to manage complex events in-person, virtually or as a hybrid

• Excellent budgeting skills in multiple currencies

• Flexibility in your working hours and attending events and site visits as per your workload schedule, which may include international travel

• Proactive, confident and solution driven

• Highly motivated and working as part of a small team

• Ideally, you will be located within a one-hour commute of Rye, East Sussex.

• …and it would be amazing if you were also able to communicate fluently in either Spanish or French.
